Hello! So you're interested in having some handmade clothing made for me, right? ^^ Thanks so much! But before we go through with your order, there are some things you'll need to know about how I work.... You must agree to these terms because "I didn't read it or I didn't know!" I can't accept Dx

  General Questions
  Q. Are you a professional seamstress?
A. By all means, no! ^^; I sew as a hobby. I do help run the Embroidery department where I work, though, so I guess I am sort of "professional" ^^; I try my best and check all items so they can last for a long time with normal wear. However, there may be errors or imperfections in your order. That is how handmade items are, though ^^; I make all items one at a time, so none of them are exact duplicates like a robot made them or something. By placing an order by me, you are stating that you understand this. If there is a serious problem with your order, please contact me about it BEFORE GIVING FEEDBACK and we will discuss the details further. (If you come to me afterwards. I'll feel there is nothing else I can do ;_;)

Q. Is your house Smoke free/Pet free?

A. Yay! My home IS smoke-free. I do have 2 cats (one long hair and one short hair) and one long-haired dogs. If you have allergies to pets, I would suggest not purchasing at all from me :(

Q. How does payment work? What kinds of payment do you accept?
VERY IMPORTANT. DO NOT SKIP OVER THIS!~

A. I prefer any type of PayPal (Existing Balance, Bank Transfer, Credit Card, etc. eCheck payments will not be shipped until the payment clears. Please no Money Order or Concealed Cash. No matter what, I will not ship your item until the FULL payment/trade is received!

Please take a look at my feedback if you are feeling uneasy about ordering from me. I am a very honest person. If I cannot make an item I will refund you the money owed. I will stay in constant communication with you!

Sometimes I will accept trades for other items, especially if they are handmade. Also I will accept graphic and icons, etc, but it must be an equal trade ^^;

  Shipping Information
  Q. When will you ship my item(s)?
A. I ship once a week, usually in the morning. I go, in person, to the post office. I always obtain a hard copy of the receipt. I do not use PayPal's shipping label. If you want a scan of the receipt, let me know :) I will email you to let you know the item is 'officially' mailed and any other information relevant to your order.

Q. What if I want a different mailing address used than what's on my PayPal?
I usually will just copy and paste the address that's on the PayPal email, notifying me of your payment. I won't change any of the information... But if you want it shipped to a different address, just let me know. However, since this kind of goes outside PayPal's rules, I won't be held responsible for lost mail sent to a different mailing address that's on your PayPal payment.
Starting August 5th, 2008 you MUST confirm with me your mailing address in a seperate e-mail, PM, etc. If you agree it is ok as stated on PayPal, I will not be held liable for any lost mail, stop of mail, address changes on mail, and things of that sort.

Q. What are my shipping options in the USA?
Orders are shipped via First Class unless buyer purchases any additional shipping options. It is the cheapest way of shipping. It takes about 3-5 days to arrive during normal times or the year... around holidays, it will take longer.

Please notify me if you want these shipping options. Unless you add Delivery Confirmation or Insurance, I will NOT be held responsible for lost packages. Sorry!
-- Priority Mail: $4.80, $6.45, or $9.80 Flat Rate
-- Insurance: (up to $50) $1.65, (from $50 to $100) $2.05, (from $100 to $200) $2.45

-- Registered Mail: (Depends on the amount of your order, starts at $10.50)
...............Any other services you'd like, please let me know ;)

Q. What are my shipping options International and Worldwide?
Orders are shipped via International Airmail First Class unless buyer purchases any additional shipping options. It is the cheapest way of shipping. It takes about 3-5 days to arrive during normal times or the year... around holidays or special events, it will take longer.

Please notify me if you want these shipping options. Unless you add Registered Mail or Insurance, I will NOT be held responsible for lost packages. Sorry!
-- Priority Mail: $16.00 (1 lbs or less), $17.30 (2 lbs), $18.60 (3 lbs)
****Priority mail International Insurance: See Chart HERE
-- Registered Mail (Depends on the amount of your order, starts at $10.15)
   **Registered Mail is required if shipping to Spain!**
     Note: You cannot combine Global Priority Mail with Registered Mail.
...............Any other services you'd like, please let me know ;)

Special Note: I am not responsible for any Customs hold-ups and any Customs fees. I'm sorry.

Q. My package is lost in the mail! Oh no I gave you the wrong address and I just remembered! What do I do?
If you paid using Insurance, Delivery Confirmation, and/or Registered Mail you can contact USPS for further help. If you opted on getting just the bare basics, there's really nothing I can do expect show you proof your item was shipped. If you gave me the wrong address, you will need to call USPS and ask their help.

Once your item is in the hands of the post office, I can't be held responsible for what they do or any changes :(  They usually do pretty well though.

  Questions Concerning Items
  Q. What do you do?
A. I only do doll clothing, and that includes:
* Pullips (Bodies: Type 1, 2, 3, SB2, SB3, SB4)
* Mini Pullip,
* Dal,
* Namu/TaeYang
* Obitsu slim male bodies.
I try not to do anything I don't have a model for. I'm still learning, so for whatever you'd like done, I'll need CLEAR photos of it (if it's something I haven't done before). Please provide me accurate images (colors and costume details) of how you want the commission done as we are in the beginning stages of discussing the commission and prices. This way I won't have to back-track and can provide a correct pattern/fabric choices for myself the first time ^^
To be honest if you have something you'd like me to do, just ask and I'll try it ^^; If I can't do it I will be honest and tell you. If I have any problems with your order I will be honest and tell you.

Q. Thanks for answering my questions about your product and/or items you are selling. What's the next step? What if I'm not interested anymore? Under what circumstances would you not accept my order?

A. After we approve all the details of the commission or item order, I will get the order total ready. If by any chance you decide not to order after all, PLEASE LET ME KNOW! A simple "No thanks" would suffice. Please don't leave me hanging. It's so rude! Believe me, I feel like a loan officer emailing a buyer and asking if they still would like to go through with the order. If I don't hear back from you in one week (7 days), I will assume you are no longer interested. (This also means if I cut off commissions, I will not still do yours if you never contacted me back). No offense, but I find it extremely rude to contact someone about interest and then never contact them back about it.

  Commission Questions
  Q. When are you doing commissions?
 A. Anytime! Just ask :) If I have to stop doing commissions (commissions being any item not listed on the site), I will post so. You may also email me about my status of commissions as well.
NOTE: As of 17 May 2008, Custom Commissions are on a VERY limited basis. I will not take on many, so please do not feel offended if I have to turn you down ;___;

Q. What will I need to send you when inquiring about an outfit commission?
I'm still learning, so for whatever you'd like done, I'll need CLEAR photos of it (if it's something I haven't done before). Please provide me accurate images (colors and costume details) of how you want the commission done as we are in the beginning stages of discussing the commission and prices. (If at all possible, please no fan art unless it's of a fan character or your original character.) This way I won't have to backtrack and can provide a correct pattern/fabric choices for myself the first time ^^
To be honest if you have something you'd like me to do, just ask and I'll try it ^^; If I can't do it I will be honest and tell you. If I have any problems with your order I will be honest and tell you.

NOTE: As of August 2008, I will not do (full) womanly figure or adult outfits on the Type 3 body. The Type 3 body was just not meant for it, it seems T___T Feel free to ask if you are unsure.

Q. Is there anything you can't or won't do?

One thing I am not very good at are complex gowns. The gowns you see from famous designs usually do not reproduce well on a 1:6 scale. If you are unsure, please feel free to ask :)

Q. So what about complete outfits? How "complete" are they?

 A. I can do the complete outfit minus shoes. If I have extra shoes around I may include them. Please note that your commission will most probably be shoe-less unless we talk about it :)

Q. How much do you charge for an original (or based on an existing product) item/outfit commission?
A. It depends on the item(s), and how complex it (they) are. Pricing depends on the amount of items, item(s) complexity, price of materials, and labor. Depending on the item you wish to order, I may have to specially purchase the fabric. I may not be able to find an EXACT replica of fabric for the item you wish but I will find the closest match. Please note that tiny details on human-sized clothing won't directly be scaled-down for dollies. I take note of this in the cost. I always try to give you the best deal~! I have been accused more of undercharging customers, so don't be afraid to ask me if you have any pricing questions ;)

Q. How long does it take? Are you done yet?

A. Items can take anywhere from a day to a month or more depending on how complex your order is and how busy I am. I get done with them fairly quickly, as that is how I would want a commission if I were buying it :) Please do not ask me about your order. I will keep in contact with you about your order on a very regular basis. If something occurs and I need your input, then please get back to me ASAP about it. If you are away for awhile, then your order will be delayed until you get back. If you are too annoying and persistent on asking the status, after one or two warnings I will cancel the order and refund you any payment you have made.

Q. Will you show my commission off in your LJ?
May I email you photos/send you links of photos of my dolls wearing your work?

A. Yes, unless you state otherwise ;) If you say I can't, I won't, I promise. But I may ask to use it on my online portfolio and on the official Ambitious Love site. That doesn't mean you have to say yes, though xD
Of course! I've love to see images of your dolls modeling my work ^^ In the future I will do a public call for photos, and may offer discounts and prize packages like a contest.
Please do join the Ambitious Love Flickr Group and add your photos and chat along with the others :3

  Questions about Order Cancellations or Damaged Items
  Q. Under what terms would you cancel my order?
A. I If you bugged me all over the place about the status of your item, I would probably cancel your item. I mean... it will get done! If I am having an unusually frustrating time with you, I have the right to cancel your order. Of course I would give you a refund though :P I might cancel an order if I cannot make the item requested as well. This I will use under my own discretion, though. It is rare I will cancel an order.
This is very uncommon and extremely rare, but there are a few circumstances when I will not accept someone's order. One would be if I cut off orders for a break ^^; Second would be if I've had difficult transaction(s) with you. Third would be if you are a scammer and/or have extremely horrid feedback. Fourth, I reserve the right not to not accept an order under any circumstance.

Q. What if I have a problem with the order/it was damaged in shipment?

A. PLEASE e-mail me the detailed problems with your order. Depending on the damage and I find it was my fault, I will offer to remake it for free and you can:
* Choose to have a refund of the item (which will be given after item has been returned to me and is in my hands). This will not include shipping, though.
* Keep the item.
No matter what option you choose, I will make another one to send to you, no charge, no strings attached. I promise that I will not be angry or upset about this! It is mistakes that help me learn more. I'd rather you tell me through email first before bad-mouthing me and leaving me negative feedback everywhere under the sun. We can solve these kinds of things quite peacefully :)

Special Note regarding commissioned items: When I email you photos of your completed commissions please tell me THEN if you want a change. I cannot make changes after the item has been shipped to you. Only if there is a serious problem (wrong size, something fell off...) will I remake/refund the item. The final photo viewing and conversation is THE LAST TIME you can make any changes before shipment!!!

I check all my items prior to shipping but sometimes I might accidentally overlook something, as I am human and absolutely not perfect. I apologize profusely if this happens though. I always try to work with 'Ambitious Love'!
